O Israel, I will not forget you! (Isaiah44)

"Remember these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I have made you, you are my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you. I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you." (Isa44:21-22)

Israel was the people selected by God for the purpose of saving all over the world from sin. But What they had done until then were disobedience, rebel, immorality and idol worship.

God gave them His law because He want to let them realize their sins. And He sent His prophets to them continuously in order to make them turn back from rebellious ways. But they didn't recognize their sins and continued to their own ways stubbornly.

Nevertheless God laid down all His self respect and confessed to Israel like this.

"I will not forget you. Return to me, for I have redeemed you."

But Israel people nailed Jesus the Son of God on the cross - who has come to the earth wearing man's body. They commited such a serious crime which they never ought to do.

God's grace has flowed to the nations through the disobedience of Israel - such a deep and deep valley of death. That's irony.

Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God's mercy to you. For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. (Ro11:30~32)

Both of the gentile or Israel are all corrupted people disobeying to God. But by the grace of gospel mixed by God's continual endurance and His unconditional love and forgiveness, we were able to turn our heart to the Lord from the edge of cliff.

Someday in the end time, Israel will be also able to repent all together, and go and preach to gospel until streams of gospel overflows to the end. That's the final mission of them. (Revelation 7)

"I will not forget you!"

"Return to me!"

Even though we ,sinners, trampled and hurted God's heart, our Heavenly Father call us and wandering people to His arms. Embracing God's love and eagarness for the lost, I want to preach the gospel in season or out of season.

PRAYER

My dear Lord, thank You for your forgiveness and totally removing of my sins. And also thank You for your unfailing love and never giving up me. All the people in the earth have made their own ways and walked stuburnly accorging to their sinful desires, but You laid down Yourself and called us to You encouraging like this, "I have made you, you are my servant!", "Return to me!"

It would right for us to hold Your cloth and beg You to save us, rather, my Lord came and knelt down in front of us who had turned back and left far away from You. And finally You were crucified on the cross for our sins.

I'm so much grateful for me to go to Your throne and listen to Your words of life. I prayed in Jesus name, Amen!
