The importance of repentance (Isaiah 43)

If we go the wrong way while driving accorging to the navigation, the device searches and directs us a new way right now. It will never rebuke or be angry with me because of my mistake. The only thing I have to do is to obey and drive to the new way as it shows. If we ignore that way and drive as I think, it takes so much time to go to a destination and I'd lose our precious time. 


The life following Jesus is like this. The Holy Spirit is the navigation of my life. He knows my whole journey of life exactly, and guides me to the best way. If I lose my way because of my mistakes, He shows me a new way again and leads my life to the righteous way in God's presence.


Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. (Isa43:18-19)


God tells me not to remember the former things and dwell on the past. He encourages me to just obey and follow the new path He shows me. This is the life style of Christians who follows the guidance of the Lord.

The importance of repentance cannot be overemphasized in christians' lives who live with Jesus christ in their hearts and follow Him.


Apostle Paul said that he died everyday, he emphasized the importance of repentance. And Jesus also said it to His disciples when He had dinner in the last passover day.


Jesus answered, "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you." (Jn13:10)


The only thing for the christians who believed in Jesus and saved from their sins, is to clean their feet everyday by repentance day by day. The reason we repent our sins everyday is not to be forgiven again but to live a life walking with Jesus without obstacles.


When we don't repent our daily sins, it is like that we go to the bathroom and don't flush the toilet, and like that we throw trashes in our rooms and have no concern about them. How terrible life it is without repentance! In such a life, many flies infested and Satan plays there everyday. So we must repent day by day.


We repent our sins not because the blood of Jesus lacks to save us, but because we, perfectly cleaned by His blood, go to the throne of God and walk with the Lord everyday. For that reason, we remove and clean the dirty obstacles in our fellowship with God.  


I'm grateful to Holy Spirit to make me known the beautiful truth. Hallelujah!


PRAYER

Dear Lord, I give thanks to You for Your blood having saved me. I also thank You for guiding me to be saved and have faith in You and Your gospel. But I see my sinful natures in my body. The sinful desires never surrender to Your laws. I recognized the meaning of repentance is to take these sinful desires in front of Your throne and clean my feet with the water of Holy Spirit. I'm so thankful for your great mercy. I go to Your presence with Paul's confession - "I dies day by day." And I clean my heart as Jesus' teaching "A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet." 

Everyday Satan spits out and pees and throws his poop into my life. I'll repent my sins and remove such  terrible things from my life. And I'll obey the word - Galatians2:20 and kick Satan out from my life. I prayed in Jesus' name. Amen!

Open our eyes and ears! (Isaiah 42)

The most important thing in our spiritual growth is not just to read bible much or have much prayer time. Even though we make every effort to obey spiritual rules, if we close our eyes and ears to God, we cannot see the Glory of God. The Lampstand and the Bread of the Presence (Leviticus 24)

Today's passage discusses the regulations regarding the lampstand and the bread of the presence in the sanctuary of God. Upon entering the sanctuary and facing the left wall, there are seven lampstands, while facing the right wall reveals the twelve loaves of bread on the table of the presence. God commanded the Israelites to bring pure, pressed olive oil to keep the lamps burning continuously, and Aaron was to tend to the lamps from evening until morning outside the curtain of the testimony in the tabernacle of meeting.
