The Lord of peace (Joshua 21)

And the LORD gave them rest on every side, just as he had solemnly promised their ancestors. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the LORD helped them conquer all their enemies. (Joshua 21:44, NLT)

God gave His people rest on every side, until they settle down on primised land -Canaan. God made all the enermies defeated in front of them so any other tribes couldn't dare to attack them.

Now we need to mention one point of truth clearly. It's that God doesn't plan for only good things to happen in our lives. Sometimes He allows kind of situations that His people don't want to accept in their lives - like 'darkness' or 'tribulation'.

I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the LORD, am the one who does these things. (Isaiah 45:7, NLT)

God create the peace but He also create the tribulation. But all the things are focused on His extremely good will. We usually continue to wanna get the perfect peace without any kind of tribulation, but God always continues to guide us the situation that we have only to rely upon Him.

What God really wants to give us is to live only with His presence all day long. Not only when we are in a lot of troubles but also in peaceful times, God rejoices in those who believe His soveignity thoroughly and long for the Lord eagarly.

How can we live this kind of life?

That's going to be possible when God's presence becomes the only hope in our lives. That's so easy just when we walk with our loved ones.

Today I  rely on my Lord so as to be satisfied and joyful just with the only one, my loving savior God.

<Application>

I want to listen to my Lord's voice and give thanks, praise and obedience to God in my whole life proclaiming His promises.

<Prayer>

Dear my Lord, I praise the Lord of peace. The peace that you're going to give me is not a life without hardship. Rather, I believe that the true faith is to focus on God even when it's stormy. Though I am a person that is surprised by small things, I'm grateful for my Lord Jesus who makes me enjoy the peace in Your presence. Today I hope that You may provide me Your overwhelming grace. And lead my thinking, talking and acting to your strong presence. And let me experience the unconditional peace of Holy Spirit. I prayed in Jesus name. Amen!
